This discography shows the country, title, date, label, and catalog number for all known releases and variations. It also serves as a want list. An asterisk (*) at the end means I have a copy, and a dash (-) means I need a copy.

The live version of Walkin' With A Mountain is the complete track, which was edited on the original Live album. All The Way From Memphis also includes a bit of stage banter from Ian that does not appear on the album.

This was the first compilation in the CD era to offer unreleased material. It contains three unreleased tracks, including Henry and the H Bomb (an unfinished demo), Lounge Lizzard (the only MTH track recorded start-to-finish with Mick Ronson), and Through The Looking Glass (a 'special' version with profanity prepared as a joke for CBS executives). American Pie is not as interesting as it might appear - it is just a live recording of one verse, which was used as an intro to GOlden Age of Rock 'n' Roll.

This two-disc compilation seems to have two purposes - to introduce various recent Mott The Hoople-related CD releases to casual fans, and also to entice die-hard collectors with a generous helping of eight previously-unreleased tracks. Chosen Road and Can You Sing The Song I Sing are Island-era Mott The Hoople demos. I Ain't Got You finally provides the elusive second side to Mick Ralphs' first appearance on record. Something Else adds a new track to the 1990 Silence reunion disc, with a nice vocal from the late Robert Fisher. St. Tropez and She's Real Gone offer new solo recordings from Verden Allen and Overend Watts, respectively.

The first release was a double CD collection of live tracks using live material licensed from Angel Air, and was issued with a cardboard slipcover. A second release with a single CD in a slipcover omits the second disc but adds a booklet with poor liner notes and a picture of a band that is not Mott The Hoople.

A double CD of material compiled from the CBS era, including both Mott The Hoople and Mott. The original UK issue comes in a cardboard slipcover, and the booklet includes two nice photos of the original band lineup that appear to be previously unpublished. Liner notes are by Tim Jones and include the usual level of mistakes (i.e. Stan's last name became 'Tippit', Gus Dudgeon suddenly produced the Mott album, Mick Bolton joined in 1972, and the Broadway shows apparently happened while Verden Allen was still in the band.)
