Fancy was formed in Southend-on-Sea, Essex in 1973 by Nigel Benjamin, guitarist Bob Banasiak, bassist Phil Mitchell, and drummer Chris Holibon. initially, 600 copies were pressed and sold locally and at gigs. When those sold out, another 600 copies were made. The record was recorded in London and produced by Tony Collins, who was connected to Don Arden and Jet Records. A third song called You Would Be The Loser, written by Phil Mitchell, was recorded at the same session.

This four track EP was recorded at Chateau Recorders in Los Angeles, and issued in 1982. The band included Nigel Benjamin (vocals), Bob Steffan (guitar), John Telesco (bass), Pat Regan (keyboards), Richie Onori (drums). The record was produced by Pat Regan and Eyes, and engineered by Brian Leshon. The model pictured on the cover is July 1978 Playboy Playmate Karen Elaine Morton.
